We firmly believe that our purpose as a church is to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel.  Because we feel that so strongly we have placed a lot of thought and a special emphasis on how we go about our Outreach.  We have multiple opportunities to be a part of this ministry.

Our local church-wide Outreach ministry meets at 1:00 pm on Saturday afternoon to go out and spread the gospel to a lost and dying world, starting first in our neighborhoods and community here in Akron. We take this time to spread the gospel by passing out tracts, inviting people to church, and sharing our testimony.

In addition to our local Outreach, First Baptist Church is a world-wide missions-oriented church supporting 60+ missionaries around the globe.  Our missions program allows each and every member of our church to participate in reaching the world through financial giving.
