First Baptist Academy Graduation and Awards Ceremony

The First Baptist Academy graduation and awards ceremony for the 2009-2010 school year will be held Wednesday, June 2 at 7:00pm in the church auditorium. There will be a reception in the gymnasium immediately following the service.

Blue Denim and Lace

The Blue Denim and Lace club will begin a new term on Wednesday, June 2. The club is open to all church girls going into the 3rd-6th grades. They meet each Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 – 6:30 in the gymnasium. There is a sign-up sheet on the back table at the church if you’re interested; club guidelines are posted on the church bulletin board. You can also see Mrs. Betty Conley if you have any questions.

Ezekiel Jarvis & Ashley Dearing Wedding

The church family is invited to attend the wedding of Ezekiel Jarvis and Ashley Dearing on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2:00pm. The ceremony will be held in the church auditorium with the reception immediately following in the gymnasium. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Young at Heart Activity

Please be in prayer for our deacon Bro. Roy Conley and his family. He was admitted to Akron City hospital over the weekend with heart and breathing problems.

Mother-Daughter Banquet

Our annual Mother-Daughter Banquet will be Friday, May 21, 2010 in the church gymnasium. Our special speaker this year will be Mrs. Pam Wallace from Town Creek, Alabama. Pictures will be taken at 6:00pm and the meal will be served at 6:30pm. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children.
