Chrissy Hutchison

Chrissy will be having some tests run today at 2:30pm EST. She is currently away from home at Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, California. She and her family appreciate the prayers.

Mothers’ Day and Baby Dedication Service

On Sunday, May 9 we will be having a special Mothers’ Day Service beginning at 11:00am. We will be honoring the oldest mother in attendance and the mother with the most children. All mothers in attendance will also receive a small gift from Preacher and Mrs. Fox.

Our annual Baby Dedication will also be during the morning service. All babies one year of age or younger will receive a New Testament from Preacher during a special time of prayer for the family.

After the service, all guests are invited out to the gymnasium for a special dinner.

Teen Soul-Winning Marathon

All teens are invited to come out and participate in the Teen Soul-Winning Marathon on Saturday, May 8, 2010. We will be soul winning from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Please see Bro. Snow if you have any questions.

Megan August

Please be in prayer for Megan August who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Megan is a friend of Brad and Jeanine Miller.

Missions Conference

Our Missions Conference will be Wednesday through Friday, April 21-23, 2010. Each service will begin at 7:00pm in the church auditorium. Our featured speaker each evening will be Dr. Dennis Corle from Revival Fires! Ministries in Claysburg, Pennsylvania. We will also have missionary presentations from Bro. Wendell Rogers from Rock of Ages Prison Ministries and Maj. Henry Christian, missionary to the American military and veterans. Each evening will conclude with a reception in the gymnasium where all the attending missionaries will have their displays set up.

Saturday, April 24 we will have a Visitation Breakfast at 10:30am in the gym. All church members and visiting missionaries are encouraged to attend.

Bro. Genesis Caranguian, missionary to the Philippines, will be speaking to our Junior Church kids on Sunday, April 25 at 11:00am. We will be taking up our Faith Promise committment cards during the Sunday evening service.

If you saw our advertisement in the Revival Fires! or Sword of the Lord newspapers and are interested in attending our Missions Conference April 21-23, please call Lauren at the church (330.745.3619) to reserve your hotel room. All missionaries will have a room provided to them free of charge, but we ask that you please call to register by Wednesday, April 14. A table will also be provided for your missionary display.

Young at Heart Activity

All Senior Saints (age 50 and older) are invited to come out for some great food and fellowship on Thursday, April 15, 2010. Meet at the Golden Corral on Arlington Road at 1:00pm. If you have any questions please call Bro. Roy Conley at 330.628.8270.

Teen Camp Registration

Attention Teens: We are now accepting registration for camp this summer. The cost is $10 if paid by Sunday, April 18; after that, the cost will be $25 per person. Please turn your money in to Bro. Snow. Teen camp will be August 2-6, 2010.

Gym Cleaning Day

We will be having a cleaning day in the gymnasium this Friday, April 9 beginning at 11:00am. If you can come out and help even for only a little while we would really appreciate it!

Men’s Basketball Championship Game

The church family is invited to come out and cheer on our men’s basketball team in their final game of the season. They will be playing Mogadore Baptist on Monday, April 5 at 7:30pm. The game will be at Mogadore Baptist Church, 3750 Albrecht Avenue, just up from the corner of Albrecht and State Route 532.
