WMS Snack Social

The WMS ladies will be hosting a Snack Social this Sunday, September 20, after the evening service in the gym. There will be hot dogs, nachos and cheese, chips, and Coke available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the WMS’s Christmas Fund.

Ladies Volleyball League

The Ladies Volleyball League will begin playing Tuesday, September 29 at 6:00pm. All church ladies 14 years of age and older are invited to come out for the fun! There will be a meeting on Sunday, September 20 after the evening service for all those interested in playing this year. All games will be played on Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00pm; a league fee of $25 will be due from each player.

Kingdom’s Kids

Kingdom’s Kids is starting back up! All church kids in the first through sixth grades are encouraged to attend. Meet out in the gym every Wednesday during the school year at 7:00pm. If you have any questions please see Dave or Jill Conley.

Young at Heart Activity

All Senior Saints are invited to come out this Thursday, September 17, 2009 for a great day of food and fellowship! Meet at the church at 12:00pm; we will then head to the Smithville Inn for a good, hot meal. Don’t forget to bring your Entertainment Book coupon! If you have any questions please call Bro. Please Pray for Dawn Albright

Continue to remember Dawn Albright in prayer. She was taken to the emergency room this past weekend with complications from a surgery she had a few weeks ago. Bro. John called to let us know she is home now, but it will be a little while before she is up and around again.

Anniversary Sunday – September 13

Make plans to join us as we celebrate our 89th Anniversary! The preaching service begins at 11:00 am, followed by dinner-on-the-grounds. We will also be having a drawing for two $500 cash prizes. All adults that are in the preaching service are eligible to win!

The Brady Rochester Family from South Carolina will be with us and providing the special music. They will be singing during the morning and evening service, and also providing a free concert from 5:00-5:45pm in the gymnasium.

The evening preaching service will be held out in the gym, and will begin at 6:00pm. We will be playing some games along with an old-fashioned Gospel sing-a-long, and of course preaching!

Fall Campaign 2009 – All Stars

Make plans now to join us during our 4 week Fall Campaign, September 13 – October 4.

September 13 – Anniversary Sunday

The church will be celebrating our 89th Anniversary complete with Dinner-on-the-Grounds after the morning service and a Gospel concert with the Rochesters before the evening service.

September 20 – Grandparents’ Day

All grandparents in attendance will receive a complimentary family portrait.

The oldest grandma and the grandma with the most birth grandchildren will receive gift cards to Golden Corral.

September 27 – World’s Largest Banana Split

October 4 – Bus Ministry Appreciation Sunday

Our bus kids will have a special part in the morning service. We will also be honoring one of our faithful bus families.
